I bring a unique perspective to coaching having worked as an advisor and wholesaler, as well as in client services, estate planning, marketing and social media in my 20-year career in financial services. I’ve gained a deep understanding for the industry having worked for companies such as MetLife, Schwab, TIAA-CREF, Genworth and New York Life. This experience provides a holistic understanding of the roles, challenges and environment affecting my clients.
Why do you coach?
My passion is using my creativity to come up with business solutions. I was drawn to financial services because I like helping people reach their goals and dreams. I see each client and situation as a puzzle. With the right actions, everything comes together to work towards meeting a goal.
How would you describe your coaching style?
I listen to uncover opportunities to improve communication and strengthen your business. Sometimes all it takes is fine tuning how you think and what you say. I’ll explain things simply and clearly, speaking from your perspective, using a direct but upbeat approach to provide recommendations on what steps to take next. Staying organized helps keep us focused on your progress and reaching your goals.
What are some of your personal interests and hobbies?
My husband and I enjoy discovering all the Texas Hill Country has to offer, especially the live music scene. My happy place is the glass studio where I create fused glass accessories that add color and sparkle to life.
What do your clients say about you?
My clients appreciate my ability to really hear what they’re going through. By truly listening, I can isolate an issue that might be obscuring an opportunity. Clients respond to my positive, supportive approach – a hold-over from my dog training days. And with my specific suggestions, they can see clearly what to do next. They put a lot of value in knowing that I’m holding them accountable each time we meet and keeping them on track to achieve their goals.
