Ken Broaderip

In my 30+ years in the financial services industry, I’ve had the roles of advisor, branch manager, and Head of Commodity Futures. Over the past 20 years, my focus has been training & development.  As Managing Director of Professional Development for two national securities firms, I’ve had hands-on experience in training and coaching advisors at all levels, including top performers and those who aspire to be. I was also instrumental in the design and delivery of a High Net Worth Strategy and training initiative.

Having designed and delivered practice management programs for experienced advisors and teams, I have seen and learned a lot about how to help advisors reinvigorate their practices and improve their lives. As a professionally trained coach, I bring formal knowledge and skill to the coaching relationship.  I am a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC).   I have a deep understanding of the critical role of coaching in narrowing the gap between intentions and results.  I pride myself in helping advisors and advisor teams reach their potential.

Why do you coach?
I have a passion for the industry along with a passion for helping people. Combine that with a background in education, and coaching is a perfect fit for me.

How would you describe your coaching style?
My approach is honest and direct.  I treat my clients as adults capable of making a few strategic choices collaboratively. Then, we work together to fully commit to these choices.

What are some of your personal interests and hobbies?
I enjoy to be on or in the water – swimming, waterskiing, boating, sailing etc. I also love golf in the summer. In the winter, I enjoy skiing and watching hockey.
